On this magnificent summer like day in March I wake for the first day without my partner. He is off traveling with his sister. It is so interesting how we spend our time when we have some. This morning I was looking through a file for something and found a DREAM board I had in the early 90's. Back then it was both a collection of things that reminded me of who I am really am, and strived to be, along with some great cartoons from Gary Larson's, The Far Side and some from the New Yorker Magazine, which were more about my own personal dramas back then. But the most exciting, reassuring, and joyous part was the quotes I had cut out from an evening with Michael Ash - talking about "The Big Picture." 20 years later and I am now a boomer who loves what I do, retirement is after all doing what you love. I am so lucky to be partnered with a company who has the same values. "If money is the driving force, it's the wrong force." "It's not about quantity, but about quality." "Everyone needs to have more of a passion about their craft." Treat people the way they want to be treated." This DREAM BOARD IS going right back up on the wall next to the newest one!

March is always full of surprises but this March in Chicago is one for the books. It has ignited in me this tremendous energy to get out and meet new people and well quite honestly, follow the namesake of this blog. The Today Show had a special on the changes we the Baby Boomers are bringing about when it comes to aging. In fact we are demanding that aging is not only beautiful it is fun. So we are doing away with the staying young theme and embracing the feeling great, looking great, and being great at whatever age you are! OH Joy! Join me in that pursuit it is so much fun and I am loving it.

But, I kept thinking I am over 60- aren't I supposed to be gray and grumpy? Tired, certainly not running up and down stairs, up early, up late, and now building a business.
What was wrong with me? Turns out nothing! Turns out today 60 is what 40 used to be. Wow what to do with that? I am busy figuring that out and hope you join my on the journey. It will be fun and exhilarating.
